Known affectionately as the 'medium-format DSLR,' the Pentax 67 (originally the 6×7) debuted in 1969 and quickly became a favorite of portrait and landscape photographers. Its 6×7cm negative captured extraordinary detail, while its SLR handling made it more intuitive than other medium-format systems. The combination of the Pentax 67 and a 105mm f/2.4 lens became one of the most celebrated portrait setups in photography.
RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
Each effect is calibrated to match the real optical and chemical characteristics of the Pentax 67.
