Introduced in 1957, the Hasselblad 500C defined medium-format photography for decades. Its modular system — interchangeable lenses, film backs, and viewfinders — built around a 6×6cm format gave photographers unmatched versatility. Carl Zeiss optics delivered legendary sharpness, and NASA selected a modified 500C to document the Apollo missions, making it the camera that photographed humanity's first steps on the moon.
RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
Each effect is calibrated to match the real optical and chemical characteristics of the Hasselblad 500C.
