The Mamiya RB67, introduced in 1970, earned its name from the 'Revolving Back' that allowed seamless switching between portrait and landscape orientation without repositioning the camera. Its 6×7 format, bellows focusing, and legendary Mamiya-Sekor lenses made it a studio workhorse. The 90mm f/3.8 lens became the industry standard for portrait photography, and the RB67 system dominated professional studios through the 1990s.
RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
Each effect is calibrated to match the real optical and chemical characteristics of the Mamiya RB67.
