The LOMO LC-A, produced at the LOMO factory in St. Petersburg starting in 1984, was a compact Soviet camera originally designed as an affordable alternative to the Cosina CX-2. Its Minitar 32mm f/2.8 lens produced saturated colors, heavy vignetting, and unpredictable results that charmed a group of Austrian art students in the early 1990s. They founded the Lomographic Society International, and the LC-A became the spiritual center of the worldwide Lomography movement.
RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
Each effect is calibrated to match the real optical and chemical characteristics of the Lomo LC-A.
