Originally a cheap plastic toy camera manufactured in Hong Kong in the 1960s, the Diana gained a cult following for its dreamlike soft focus, unpredictable light leaks, and heavy vignetting. Lomography revived it as the Diana F+ in 2007, embracing the imperfections that make each shot unique. The camera shoots 120 film and has become an icon of the lo-fi photography movement.
RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
Each effect is calibrated to match the real optical and chemical characteristics of the Diana F+.
