CCTV Security CamB&W, CRT Scanlines, Date Stamp

Closed-circuit television security cameras became ubiquitous in the 1990s, blanketing cities and businesses with their distinctive low-resolution, wide-angle surveillance footage. The characteristic CCTV look — monochrome or washed-out color, CRT scanlines, burned-in date/time stamps, and extreme barrel distortion — has become one of the most recognizable imaging aesthetics of the modern era.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
