The Yashica T4 (known as the T5 in some markets), released in 1990, packed a Carl Zeiss T* 35mm f/3.5 lens into a weather-sealed compact body. Its stunning optical quality in such a small package made it a sleeper hit that later achieved cult status. Terry Richardson famously used a Yashica T4 for his distinctive flash photography, and the camera's combination of Zeiss optics and foolproof operation made it one of the most desirable point-and-shoot cameras.
RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
Each effect is calibrated to match the real optical and chemical characteristics of the Yashica T4.
