HISTORY

About the Agfa Isolette

Produced by Agfa starting in 1950, the Isolette was a series of medium-format folding cameras that epitomized post-war European craftsmanship. Its compact folding design made 6×6 medium-format photography genuinely portable, while the Agnar or Apotar lenses delivered respectable sharpness. The Isolette was a favorite of travelers and amateur photographers who wanted medium-format quality without the bulk.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
