About the Minolta TC-1

The Minolta TC-1, released in 1996, was an ultra-premium compact camera with a titanium body and one of the finest lenses ever fitted to a point-and-shoot: the G-Rokkor 28mm f/3.5. Its optical quality was so exceptional that it rivaled many interchangeable lenses, and the 28mm focal length made it ideal for street and documentary photography. The TC-1 remains one of the most highly regarded compact cameras in history.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
