About the Kodak DC25

The Kodak DC25, released in 1996, was one of the first digital cameras aimed at the consumer market. Capturing images at just 493×373 pixels, it stored photos on a CompactFlash card — a format that would become the industry standard. Despite its primitive specifications, the DC25 represented Kodak's attempt to lead the digital transition, though the company would ultimately be overtaken by competitors.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
