The Fuji Instax Wide format, introduced in 1999, offered larger instant prints measuring 99×62mm — nearly twice the area of Instax Mini. The wider format was better suited to group shots, landscapes, and events. Though overshadowed by the Instax Mini's popularity, the Wide format maintained a loyal following among photographers who appreciated the larger print size for its greater visual impact.
RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
Each effect is calibrated to match the real optical and chemical characteristics of the Instax Wide.
