DJI FPV DroneFirst-Person View Drone Camera

The DJI FPV, released in 2021, was the first consumer drone designed for immersive first-person-view flying with a camera capable of 4K/60fps video. Its goggles provided a real-time pilot's-eye view while recording smooth, stabilized footage. The FPV combined the thrill of racing drones with DJI's camera quality, creating a new category of aerial cinematography accessible to creators without professional drone piloting experience.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
