RED Komodo 6KS35 Cinema, Global Shutter

The RED KOMODO 6K, released in 2020, brought RED's cinema camera technology to a dramatically smaller, more affordable body with a global shutter — eliminating the rolling shutter artifacts that plague virtually every other digital cinema camera. Its compact form factor allowed mounting in tight spaces and on gimbals, while still capturing 6K REDCODE RAW. The KOMODO made RED's legendary image quality accessible to a much wider range of filmmakers.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
