HISTORY

About the Apple QuickTake 100

Released in 1994, the Apple QuickTake 100 was one of the first consumer digital cameras, developed by Kodak for Apple. It captured images at 640×480 pixels with 24-bit color and stored just 8 photos in its internal memory — there was no removable storage. Despite its primitive specifications, the QuickTake represented a pivotal moment: one of the first times a major technology company bet on digital photography as the future.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
