Voigtländer Bessa R35mm Rangefinder, Color-Skopar 35mm f/2.5

The Voigtländer Bessa R, introduced in 2000 by Cosina, was a compact 35mm rangefinder compatible with Leica screw-mount (L39) lenses. Paired with the excellent Color-Skopar 35mm f/2.5, it offered a Leica-like shooting experience at a fraction of the price. The Bessa R helped revive interest in rangefinder photography and gave photographers access to the vast world of vintage Leica-mount lenses.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
