Hasselblad X1D IIMedium Format, 50MP, 44×33mm

The Hasselblad X1D II 50C, released in 2019, was a medium-format mirrorless camera with a 50-megapixel 44×33mm sensor in a body barely larger than a full-frame mirrorless. Its combination of medium-format image quality, Hasselblad color science, and genuinely portable size was unprecedented. The X1D II proved that medium-format photography could be taken out of the studio and into the field.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
