HISTORY

About the Fuji Superia 400

Fuji Superia 400, introduced in 1998, was Fujifilm's mainstream consumer color negative film and a direct competitor to Kodak Gold and Ultramax. Its slightly cooler, greener color palette compared to Kodak films gave it a distinctive character that many photographers prefer. Superia's reliable performance and vivid colors made it one of the most widely shot films in the world during the late film era.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
