About the Canon Digital Rebel

The Canon EOS 300D (Digital Rebel), released in 2003, was the first DSLR priced under $1,000, shattering the price barrier that had kept digital SLRs out of reach for most photographers. Its 6.3MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC processor delivered image quality that convinced millions to switch from film. The Digital Rebel democratized DSLR photography and launched a new era of affordable interchangeable-lens digital cameras.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
