HISTORY

About the iPhone 4

The iPhone 4, released in 2010, was Apple's first major step toward serious mobile photography with a 5-megapixel backside-illuminated sensor, LED flash, and 720p video recording. Its significantly improved camera combined with the introduction of Instagram the same year sparked the mobile photography revolution. The iPhone 4 was the first phone camera that many people felt genuinely competed with a point-and-shoot.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
