iPhone 12 Pro12MP, f/1.6, LiDAR, Smart HDR 3

The iPhone 12 Pro, released in 2020, introduced Apple's LiDAR scanner for improved autofocus in low light and accurate depth mapping. Its 12-megapixel triple-camera system with Smart HDR 3 delivered the most natural-looking computational photography of any iPhone to date. The ProRAW format gave photographers unprecedented control over iPhone images, combining computational photography with professional-grade editing flexibility.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
