HISTORY

About the HTC Dream (G1)

The HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1), released in 2008, was the first commercially available Android smartphone. Its 3.2-megapixel camera and slide-out QWERTY keyboard marked the beginning of the Android ecosystem that would eventually dominate the smartphone market. The Dream's camera quality was modest, but it established the foundation for Android's camera platform that now powers billions of devices.

RetroCam recreates this look using real optical data: color temperature curves, aberration profiles, grain structure, and tonal response. The result is a live camera effect that feels authentic, not just a filter slapped on top.
